Meet Victoria

Playwright | Participatory Action Researcher | Dramaturg | Audiodrama Artist | Multi-Modal Storyteller

Victoria Dickman-Burnett (she/her) is a playwright, dramaturg, and multi-modal storyteller whose work ranges from audiodrama, to dramaturgy and play writing, to the visual arts. She was the show runner of Lavender Evening Fog, which ran for four seasons and Curation, a short-form Audiodrama experiment. Her serial play Hamlet, Prince of Denmark PI premiered at the Know Theatre as part of Serials 15, running from January to March of 2025. Victoria is also the resident dramaturg for Cincinnati Unrehearsed Shakespeare. Her other work has appeared in the inaugural Phonic Fiction Fest (Audiodrama) and Secret ArtWorks (visual arts). Victoria also mentors young participatory arts-based researchers and provides free survey consulting for independent theatres. She is a member of the board of directors for Ghostlight Stage Company, where she serves on the People over Profits committee. Victoria has a PhD from the University of Cincinnati and is currently writing a book about sexual violence in film.
